What is not to like? The location is idyllic. Each room looks onto Sister Bay and hills surrounding it. The light fixtures in the room are stylish and modern. The bed looked to have been purchased a few days before. The TV screen is utterly enormous, and the DVD player easy to use. The shower is state of the art, and the flooring is spectacular. The breakfast was plentiful and the offerings varied. In the morning, three deer stood in front of the office. Ten seconds later, seven more came out from the bushes. The hiking path to town allows you to avoid cars and amble through nature into downtown Sister City, which is liberally peppered with good eateries and brew pubs. The staff were all very nice and helpful in every regard. This may be listed as a two-star hotel, but one feels like a king staying there.

Loved the atmosphere. Although this is not on the water, it is close enough. It is a little dated in decor, but the living room furniture was new in both rooms that we were in. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and there was a lot of space. Courtesy movies available at the front desk. We would stay here again.

    We needed a good place to just chill.

    We needed a good place to just chill. This has great scenery and not too hectic. Easy to get to other towns like Fish Creek and Sister Bay for fun or food! Several good places to dine as well. If you like to walk, easy access to restaurants near by. Sunset Grill great food and owner, Good Egg, and chef’s hat- always delicious. Breakfast at Post Office too.

    Lovely quaint town with very friendly people and great food.Easy to get around and sits pretty much in the center of the pensula of Door County.Pensula state park is like 5 minutes away and Absolutely Beautiful! Highly recommend going their and climbing the tower and walking the ramp down it is breathtaking !

    My husband and I love visiting Door County Wisconsin.

    My husband and I love visiting Door County Wisconsin. We have usually stayed in Egg Harbor but the price on the resort we've stayed at before seemed a bit on the high side. I opted for Ephriam as we planned to explore the more northern part of Door County and take the ferry over to Washington Island too. Ephriam is not as busy with gift shops as other towns there and we enjoyed the close proximity to the lake and the awesome sunsets. Our favorite restaurant is located in Ephriam as well. We enjoy the quieter, less busy areas and Ephriam was a perfect spot to stay. It's close enough to drive to the other popular spots but seemed less busy to us. We loved it!

    Ephriam has a lot to offer but to walk around it you need to stay in South Ephraim. We parasailed and ate in town. We stayed on the North side and that was fun for the Red Putter. The go carting was very slow a little further north at Pirate's Cove.

    I would stay here again.

    I would stay here again. The motel was quaint and very clean. The breakfasts were very good. Don’t miss out n the homemade donuts if available. They were amazing. The fish boil at the Old Post Office restaurant was fantastic. So much fun to watch and delicious to eat. Homemade cherry pie for dessert is included. Perfect location near Sister Bay and Fish Creek. I’d stay here again.

    The staff went out of their way when booking to get us on a lower floor for my husband and we appreciated that very much. All the staff from check in to leaving the following morning was very friendly. It rained the first day so we would've loved to have spent another night just to enjoy the hotel and its surroundings more. Loved the continental breakfast. It was just enough to start our day.
