Florence was a lovely surprise. We had never stayed there before. The downtown area was a great shopping experience. There are many awesome stores. There are several grocery stores too. next time I would like to try the group dune buggy experience. This was my first time this way so it was a good exploration. Florence was only 5 miles from the house. Great restaurants, shops, beach & lake. The people in Florence are GREAT --friendly & accommodating. Love the dune buggy ride & Miniature Golf at Sandland Adventures --FUN! Sea Lion Caves just a short distance outside of Florence --WOW! Old Town had a great ambience with lots of shopping and art galleries to explore. Lack of breakfast options in Old Town was a drawback. Highly recommend The Green Room for a fine dining experience. The morning breakfast staff were extremely kind and kept the food stocked. They even made personal omelettes on demand! The location just on the outskirts of town and near the sanddunes was super convenient for us to experience the best of Florence.
