    I visit Flowood 4 - 6 times a year for business.

    I visit Flowood 4 - 6 times a year for business. I love the area in general. Lots of restaurants and shops. The area where the Best Western is located is NOT a good area. I had never stayed at this location before and never will again. Constant police activity at the gas station next door and a lot of drug activity in the area. The next time I come back I will stay closer to the heart of Flowood and not on the outskirts.

    Was really impressed the room was more than i was expecting...

    Was really impressed the room was more than i was expecting at a reasonable price . Room was large and very clean. Property was new or well kept. Welcoming staff when .arrived was great with biscuits and gravy and a cappuccino machine. would definitely stay there again I would highly recommend. enjoyed our stay, thank y'all for the hospitality..

    The location was perfect!

    The location was perfect! We didn't have to drive a great distance for shopping or food. We felt safe which was extremely important for us. There was visible proof of Police patrolling the city. Everyone was very friendly where we went.

    Nice clean area the further you get away from Jackson.

    Nice clean area the further you get away from Jackson. Good inexpensive restuarants in the area, easy access to I55 and I20. It is an area that is spread out, so bring a navigator with you and be sure to write down address before you head out in a car. We gave Garmin the address to a restaurant and she missed it a couple times. How I love to circle. Business on the main drag are off the road and not all of them are connected to a intersecting road.

    The place was dirty and smelly.

    The place was dirty and smelly. A/c cut off in the middle of night. Floors were slick and dirty. Beds and pillows were like stone. One bed had hairs in it, 1 had blood stains on sheets. Next to very noisy highway

    The staff was friendly.

    The staff was friendly. However if you pay with a debit card, you will be charged an extra fee, and they will hold at least $100.00. They are very slow about releasing the $100 charge when you check out. None of this info is on their website. It states on the website that they take credit cards and debit cards but does not give the policy of holding funds if paying with a debit card. This kept our trip from being a really good experience

    This is a very basic hotel, very good location and price. Older hotel but decent. They are going through a renovation. Clean room nice staff no breakfast served. Has a clean basic workout room, ice machine, washer, dryer, pool and snack bar for a fee. If you are working in the area or just need an affordable place to stay I recommend this hotel.

    Value for price paid. Safe location. Good curb appeal. Helpful staff. Calm place. No drama. A little breakfast available which I need before taking morning meds. Nice large room refrigerator. Decaf coffee was available for in room use which is rare at economy hotels. Convenient and plentiful electric outlets.
