    Fontana has some nice areas, but like most cities, some less desirable areas as well. The Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, shopping and restaurants are all plentiful. We especially like Brandon's Diner on Slover Ave.

    Fontana is an interesting city that has a little bit of everything. It's not the bustling city like Los Angeles nor the backwoods roads of Big Bear. It's a central hub that's close enough to the neighboring mountains, beaches, and other busy cities that gives the flexibility to go in any direction as one sees fit. Fontana has the restaurants, bakery, shopping malls, fast food joints, grocery stores, auto shops, gas stations, hotels, motels, drug stores, parks, churches, general stores, and everything else in between for day to day life. As far as really expensive restaurants or theme parks, you'll have to drive elsewhere for that. Fontana is more budget conscious but does not sacrifice in quality.

    Amazing city with a spectacular view of the mountains.

    Amazing city with a spectacular view of the mountains. We stayed in the downtown area right off of the freeway, and had access to a lot to clothes shopping, a grocery store, gas and even a hospital all within walking distance. It's also 15 minutes or so away from San Bernardino. Would definitely come visit Fontana again.
