Our room was spacious and comfortable for us and our luggage, free wifi included. Breakfast was also included in our fee and absolutely brilliant. The breakfast venue in the hotel was very convenient and offered a HUGE delicious variety each morning. ALL staff who we met were very friendly and helpful. We discovered during our stay, with unexpected blizzard - that this hotel was the ONLY one in town that had a back up generator - which made us even happier that we had selected this hotel!! Considering the weather and that we were trapped in the building for two days the generator was excellent news!! Unfortunately due to the blizzard conditions the indoor heated pool struggled to stay warm enough for us to enjoy. But we got to make a snowman and snow angels!! When weather improved for us to move about, we were very close to the major Bourbon Distilleries - Buffalo Trace and Woodford Reserve.

This property was a wonderful place to stay! Everything was neat and clean. Bedding was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend to others.

    We stayed in Frankfort for the distilleries in the area. We had a wonderful time. People were lovely, there was more than enough to do, and Frankfort is located between Louisville and Lexington, so a great location for the area. Lots of good food options, beautiful scenery. Overall, I would love to return to Frankfort.

    Frankfort is full of things to do but the most fun we had was visiting all the Bourbon distilleries that are in the area. Plenty of delicious food choices and lots of bars to enjoy nighttime cocktails. Lots of history to consume in Frankfort.

    We went to buffalo trace and whiskey thief distillery for bourbon tasting, both excellent and different experiences. we also took the Kentucky river boat tour which was relaxing and enjoyable. We ate at Bourbon on Main which is a popular spot in town.

    This was our second trip to Frankfort and we could have...

    This was our second trip to Frankfort and we could have stayed longer! This trip was focused on our family history, so we enjoyed the Kentucky Historical Society, the Library there, the museum and also went to the Arsenal. The Daniel Boone gravesite is amazing, peacefully overlooking the river and city. The restaurant choices are varied and we were very pleased with most of our choices. We also returned to the Buffalo Trace Distillery and Rebecca Ruth Candies. Maybe we can see some of the other Distilleries or wineries in the area next time.

    You can find any type of food you might desire.

    You can find any type of food you might desire. A shopping center was just across the street. Traffic was sometimes an issue but if you're just visiting try and use a more laidback approach in getting where you're going.

    We went to the distillery in town: a must see for all...

    We went to the distillery in town: a must see for all Bourbon fans. Free samples and tours. We also popped into a diner and enjoyed the all-American experience of sugar and calories etc: reasonably priced. The hipster coffee bar a few doors down was good too but much pricier. We’d come to Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter. My wife and I were moved to tears a number of times by what we saw. Tears of joy.

    The location was unbeatable for Frankfort! I needed to be close to the hospital for work, and this was great! We could also walk to other places downtown without a problem. The kids enjoyed the continental breakfast. And the pool was very warm and enjoyable.

    Definitely an older hotel and some age was very evident in the broken A/C for the breakfast area, broken ice machines on several floors, but the the ambiance is still beautiful and it suited our needs fine for a one-day bicycle ride.

    Breakfast was not good there was not enough choices there was no meat and no fresh fruit I used my ticket just to get a cup of cranberry juice. I left the hotel and bought breakfast out.
