Gloucester is a wonderful community brimming with history...
Gloucester is a wonderful community brimming with history and excellent local attractions. There are several antique stores/markets in the area as well as unique boutique shops that sell a wide variety of items. These include clothing, bath & body items, and hand-crafted items. Gloucester Courthouse also is home to several locally owned eating establishments. Among my favorites is Olivia's where you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast to begin your day. Olivia's also serves lunch and dinner featuring traditional Virginia dishes. It is popular among the locals, which is always a good indication of excellent food. Gloucester Courthouse is also home to an art co-op, Art on the Main, that features artwork by local artists. The co-op also offers art classes. Most importantly, the people of Gloucester are friendly and inviting providing genuine southern hospitality to visitors.Guest review byJAMES

Had a little trouble finding a decent restaurant in the area, but made the best of what was available. The home was comfortable, spacious, clean and gorgeous! The host even left us water and snacks! Celebrating our anniversary was awesome, we sat in the swings by the water and watched the sunset! Even had the fire pit going for a minute!
