We had an amazing stay at the Amherst Inn. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to downtown and plenty of great restaurants. The property itself is beautiful, and the breakfasts were wonderful. They make delicious custom omelets with your choice of fresh ingredients.

    We got just what we paid for -- not much!

    We got just what we paid for -- not much! Accommodations were clean but not very inviting. Complimentary breakfast was terrible - not much more than cold cereal and pre-packaged pastries. Front desk was not staffed. There were no bath towels in room & my husband had to go to front desk to get them because housekeeping was gone for the day.

    Good location for our purposes in the area. Breakfast was pretty good though our first morning experience was better than the second where the steam table food (eggs, sausage, etc) wasn't hot. Front desk personnel were very friendly.
