I love the place it has a very nature and homey vibe. like home away from home. everyone was very welcoming. I like that free valet is available with booking. I love that the housekeepers were on time and kept the place clean. the front desks would message us to check on us during our stay.

The location was fantastic as we watched the sun rise right from our lanai. And it is located steps from the coastal bicycle/footpath. Also, it's an easy walk over to shops and restaurants. We appreciated the hotel's complimentary extra amenities like use of bicycles, beach chairs, travel cooler, and beach towels.

    The Hanalei area is the opposite of a commercial resort style town. The businesses are small, mainly local. Tons of charm, beautiful beach. If you’re looking for nightlife, this might not be the right area for you. For local charm, it’s great.

    Really a nice resort I ever stayed. The room is spacious and relaxing. Ocean view from the balcony and window. The location is pretty good in Haena, easy access to kalalau trail, tunnels beach, lumahai beach...free shuttle can take you to Hanalei area. Will stay here again next time.

    Big room with two bathrooms. Friendly staff, direct beach access where you can’t swim but can go for nice beach walks. Only a 10 minute drive from Hanalei which has great restaurant options and little shops. Many beaches and within a few minutes drive!

    great location. the whole north of Kauai is peaceful. but this unit I2 is just steps away from the beach (unsafe to swim there due to rough surf) and the ocean breeze that comes in is great especially when it’s hot and humid. great location

    The location, views and proximity to the beach. The staff was friendly at the coffee shop and at the Grill on premise. Great servers at The Opakapaka Grill and good food. The live music was wonderful and a great surprise for us.
