We stayed in Harrodsburg specifically to see my Granddaughter who is in training in the Kimme Program. We were only a few miles from The Farm she is in training with which made it very handy to spend time with her. We now wish we had stayed longer due to the beauty of the area.

We went there to see Shakertown/Shaker Village. It's one of our very favorites to visit and tour. It has the ambience of a Colonial Williamsburg, without all of the glitz and glamour.
Harrodsburg has a wonderful state park with a small Civil War museum. The "old" town always strikes me as being "antebellum," although I imagine that most of the homes which seem that way are probably (much) newer.

This is a good hotel option for Harrodsburg KY. Facility is older but the interior modernized and clean. Our room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience there. Staff friendly and helpful. A small but adequate workout room, basic breakfast offering but no pool, which was fine with us. A great value for the price and a hidden gem in comparison to other hotel offerings In Harrodsburg.

The facility is beautiful with tons of historical information about the Shaker community. The staff is exceptional, and the office is staffed 24/7. The rooms are incredibly clean, and the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel.

The hotel is actually a converted rooming area for the Shaker community. It is very rustic, but has all the amenities which one would expect of a hotel room. They also have a nice gift shop and restaurant.
