Henderson is basically a college town. Without the university, there would not be much in Henderson. The downtown area is quaint, reminiscent of old town America. We stopped at a local coffee house that was a favorite of my grandson during his school days in Henderson. I ate at a local Mexican restaurant the previous evening. The food was fair, but the restaurant was deserted and the atmosphere was dismal.
