Beautiful beach, and so much to do!! Live music and dancing clubs that went to midnight and beyond, even on a Sunday. Restaurants, bars, pubs, everything! It was right on the Hermosa Beach Pier and the sunset was...
It was right on the Hermosa Beach Pier and the sunset was amazing! However, the music was quite loud at night and if you are up for it, the hostel is a good place to stay. Loved Hermosa Beach. Used to live there. Very local and less touristy than other beach cities. Still has lots of small older houses. Everyone was extremely nice. Comedy and Magic Club is right across the street. Bus runs on Hermosa Avenue. Good Stuff Restaurant is amazing and right around the corner. Restaurants on Pier Avenue not so great. Easy to rent e-bikes and everyone rides them on the strand. Went to Venice Beach, Hollywood Bowl, and Shoreline Village and Aquarium in Long Beach. Went whale watching there and saw FOUR blue whales!!!! Lots of great nearby restaurants ... Bottle Inn, Charthouse, Cheesecake Factory.Guest review bySusanUnited States - 10.0
