Restaurant signage on roads was nearly non-existent. NO parking near beaches. ( $3.00 per hour when you did find some ) paying a toll to get to the light house ( $9.36 ) with no parking once we got there was what I remember the most about HILTON HEAD. We love the family atmosphere and the way they try to keep things as natural as possible. We have been coming for vacation for years and start planning the next year by Oct-Nov. The island itself is beautiful.
The island itself is beautiful. They have really preserved the nature. The beaches are clean and family friendly. We went to Coligny Beach. The lifeguard was friendly and very attentive. Also, the shops are all in walking distance of the beach.Guest review byKendraUnited States

We ate at a restaurant on the street behind the hotel (right across the street) ~ bar and grill. Portions were generous and the food was delicious.
