    Hot Springs is a great place for tourists.

    Hot Springs is a great place for tourists. There is bathhouse row and, my favorite, the Gangster Museum located downtown. There are lots of hole-in-the-wall restaurants all over the place, which is where we ate some our best meals. One of the major drawbacks about downtown Hot Springs is the parking - it's terrible! I also rarely saw any police presence while I was visiting the town.

    The DUWK boats. Very entertaining and relaxing. Lots of photo opps. All the staff recommendations for dining. The bath and massage at The Arlington was relaxing and invigorating. The fact that the staff knew the best places to see the fireworks on Lake Hamilton. Loved the variety of shops and activities available. The various types of food available.

    Hot Springs had so many places to see.

    Hot Springs had so many places to see. The stores were plentiful for souvenirs. We did the tram tour which was ok, but disappointed we didn't get to see more (the guide drove us by several houses which though nice, didn't impress me much). I would have rather seen more nature stuff. There were places to fill up water jugs for free with their spring water which was pretty neat. The people that we encountered were super nice, especially the lady at the visitor center downtown. She was very knowledgeable.

    We enjoyed the area National parks and lakes in the area. I shopped in many of the stores downtown, of which there are many varied types. We were there in mid August and learned that many close in the middle of the week, so even eateries were closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Sadly, we missed our Duck ride because of too few tickets sold. School had started that week. All together, we enjoyed our stay. Our best dinner was at an Italian restaurant named Mama’s Little Italy. It was a little bit out of the way, but really worth it. Best bread ever.

    Nice mountain town to spend 4 or 5-days in.

    Nice mountain town to spend 4 or 5-days in. Nice amusement/water park, definitely ride the Ducks for a short tour, Downtown has a nice boutique shopping area. Ther are a number of Flea Markets, Antique shops, and thrift stores in the area. We found several nice restaurants. There were boats and such for rent to water recreation. Also, a number of mountain hiking trails.

    The surrounding area was beautiful.

    The surrounding area was beautiful. Downtown area had a variety of shops, eateries, and things to do. I will definitely visit Hot Springs in the future. The Tower Look-out offered a panoramic view of the area and it was breathtaking. Their air-conditioning was not working, so it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. But the staff were very helpful and kind.

    We had booked a double queen bed room which was quiet spacy. Room was equipped with an additional small table and chairs as well as a small fridge. Beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was provided within an on site facility offering an extra food serving.

    Nothing. It was overpriced. I saw the same room next day for half the price. No breakfast. No water in pool advertised. Cleaners rarely came in. Dodgy characters next door. Room smelt of cigarettes despite leaving doors open.
