Excellent Motel. We did a road trip of New England and decided to take a dip into Canada for a few days. We picked Ivey's and Houlton, ME because of the proximity to the border crossing which we figured we would probably hit in the evening coming back into the USA. The location is really close to the border and exactly what we expected. Is it super super modern? No. But is it clean, comfortable and everything we hoped for and expected? Yes! It's a great motel with a great restaurant and bar on site. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely superb too, a real bonus. Waffles/Biscuits & Gravy/Yoghurts/Cereal. The staff were friendly both on check-in and in the bar. We felt like the bar closed maybe a little early (9pm from memory) but it was only us and two other people in there, so totally understandable and maybe it was just us wanting to keep enjoying being in there! The food was great too. Great, ample, safe parking. The place has a real charm to it and we would recommend it to people and would definitely stay ourselves again if we were in the area.

Clean and comfy. Great hunting camp in a beautiful part of Maine. Gorgeous bear pelt on the wall!

Everything was good nice and clean great food and very quite
