Idaho Falls is a very nice and convenient place to stop over on the way to Yellowstone National Park. There were a lot of restaurant's and businesses around to eat and get anything you may need. I canceled my trip due to a family emergency but the hotel still charged me $112 and would not work with me for a refund. The managers was rude and had no compassion for my situation, she greedily decided to keep the hold on my credit card and charge me over $100 when I did not even stay at the hotel. The hotel was in great shape, as was the room. Breakfast was the usual good spread you get when you stay at Comfort Suites. By every metric Idaho Falls should be the better town - but I'd take Pocatello over it any day of the week. I don't like the layout at all. The only thing IF has better is their mall and mom & pop food options. Hotel is quiet, but a bit dated. The bed and pillows were ok, and the room was clean. There was a guest laundry on site, which was handy. Breakfast was provided, however it was an average selection.
