There is not much to Interior and that is just great as you get a feel for what it is like to live in such a remote part of our country. Eating choices are limited but I would rather stay in Interior to visit the park than stay in Wall which was swarming with tourists. We a te at the Wagon Wheel restaurant for dinner. Not much to look at from the outside but it was nice inside and they made a decent hamburger and they had cold beer. A cold drink was needed as it was 102F the day we visited in early September.

The staff was overwhelmingly helpful and friendly! They helped us so much with rearranging our dates!! Couldn’t have asked for more. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable!! Great place. Remided me if a motel when I was a kid!!

After a long day, riding motorcycles in the sun, this was a wonderful experience. None of the costly frills we didn't use or need. Great waking up after a good nights sleep and looking out at the Badlands!

Terribly hot, but to be expected in Badlands.
Terribly hot, but to be expected in Badlands. We spent only one night after driving in from Mpls, in order to rest up and sightsee in the Badlands next day on our way to the Black Hills. Tiny town of Interior is quite modest in its offerings (except for fabulous scenery so close by), but it met our needs very well with accommodations and breakfast at Badlands Budget Host and pizza for dinner at nearby Wagon Wheel Bar & Grill.
