I had no idea how much I would love Kankakee.
I had no idea how much I would love Kankakee. The river and the parks, the birdwatching, the fishing, the restaurants, the visitor's center--all of it exceeded my expectations. We ate at Rigo's Italian Restaurant. The Town is easy to navigate. We LOVED the Kankakee River State Park. And for anyone who loves to fish, go to Eliot's Bait and Tackle.
