If you are thinking of coming to Maine I can not recommend this area more, you could spend a day like we did just walking around town visiting all the shops and eating lunch. Try Lost Fire, if you're a steak lover, and the Tides is wonderful food with a great menu!! Great if you want to get away from all the hustle of the tourist beaches. Parsons Beach was great, could spread out without being ontop of the person/family next to you. Nice cove and early mornings when tide was out, saw a few fishermen. It was nice to go back to the cottage and relax, and do family entertainment. We brought games and had game night on Saturday night after a bit in Kennebunkport. Eating at our favorite place of 28years is Federal Jacks, has the best kids menu (though our kids are past that) and we ate at the clam shack for the first time. Congdon donuts is a must at least once. Be prepared to wait (even at 6:01am). Though they have it down and the line moved quickly.Guest review byDonnaUnited States - 10.0
