WE stayed away from down town.
WE stayed away from down town. I know a lot of people want to be in the crowd. but for us the quiet in the evening was great. The people we met were all very nice and welcoming, even giving us suggestions on places to eat that we might not have thought about because they were not on Duval St. We really enjoyed the trip to Sunset Key and dinner at Latitudes to watch the sunset. Been visiting Key West for over 50 years boating, diving, and also at time just for leisure! There is SOO much history here and SOO much to see and do. Henry Flagler, Ernest Hemmingway, and Mel Fisher along with an uncountable number of other men made it possible for the rest of us to enjoy this deep-rooted treasure in Florida that's chalk full of wonder! We had a huge suite at the front of the property with a lovely balcony. The kitchen/lounge area was very large. It was very clean. Lots of cupboard space. 2 double beds quite close together so be aware if not close friends with travelling companions! Swimming pool at back of property.
