Great staff, very friendly, helpful and flexible when we asked for an extra night. The location is lovely, just a 3 minutes walk to the lake. Half the price of everything else nearby but great quality nevertheless, would come back!

The bedroom is very nice, beds are clean and comfortable, nice pictures on the walls. The communication with the help desk is very easy, the replies are fast (however you are forced to use text messages which is paid, and despite the very nice human contact, some problems remain unsolved).

    Very different vibe than South Lake Tahoe...more "beach town" than mountain resort. We enjoyed the burgers at Char Pit and ice cream at nearby Log Cabin Ice Cream & Coffee. N Lake Blvd has a lot of fun shops & eateries, but we ended up going into Incline Village for most of our shopping & dining.

    My car got hit in the parking lot, other guests witnessed it...

    My car got hit in the parking lot, other guests witnessed it, but we were not there when it happened. According to witnesses, the lady who hit me talked to front desk and left a note on my car saying she left her information with front desk. However, when I spoke with front desk they were not willing to help me at all. They even told me to leave and locked the office. I just got a quote and the damage is for $1,500. I called the hotel again and again they are not willing to help. Also rooms are extremely small, have no AC and breakfast is just plain croissants

    Breakfast croissants were "Paris level" but no other choices. Walking distance to coffee shops, sandwich shops, and Jason's restaurant with deck facing out on Kings Beach. Jason's had music and a bar outside; great, plus Lake Tahoe!

    This is a great place to stay if you are looking for an...

    This is a great place to stay if you are looking for an affordable rate that won’t break your budget. I found my room nice and clean with the light scent of bleach, that made me feel comforted. I love having a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot to use. I had fresh towels on a regular basis, and house keeping did an excellent job Tidying up the room while I skied. The bed was warm and comfortable and I slept well each night. My room provided me with everything I needed to have so that I could focus on enjoying my ski vacation to the fullest. I look forward to returning to stay at this hotel in the spring or summer. Thanks for reading my post. Thank you Stevenson’s Inn for a nice stay💕

    We love Kings beach.

    We love Kings beach. There are lots of places to eat and easy beach access. We enjoy coming here in both the summer and the winter. In the winter its nice because you have access to most of the ski resorts. Kings Beach is pretty centrally located. Its a little funky and not posh by any means. You'll get a little local flavor staying here which is nice. In the summer there are far more tourist in this area then there are in the winter.

    Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful beach, water, and mountains! Steamers at Kings Beach was amazing! It had great food, atmosphere and music! The owner, Greg, very personable! Nice shops along the walkway!

    I booked a superior king room. It was up some stairs and had a lovely view of the lake and the sunset. The hotel were very good about telling me that some stairs would be involved if I wanted this kind of room (I'd requested a ground floor room if possible) so I could decide if it would be ok. Really comfortable bed. Kitchen had small fridge/freezer, 2 ring hob, actual kettle so I could make proper tea, microwave. Dishes and some pans, cutlery, can opener. Wifi worked well. Plenty of parking.

    The hotel was super cute and location was great (walking distance to Kings Beach and next to lots of nice restaurants). Room and bathroom were large and cleaning standard was decent. Staff was nice. There was free parking (although somehow limited for the size of the hotel).

    I loved this place, it has an old-fashioned charm, it's a step into the past, but everything is functional and immaculately clean. Good for fans of barracks hotels they can't understand, but I loved it
