    My husband and I traveled to Kauai to celebrate our birthdays and had an amazing time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kauai Lawai Beach Resort C103. Our condo was on the ground floor with a lanai looking out to a garden area. We loved seeing the island chickens and the nightly parakeets flocking to roost in the trees. We were across the street from the beach which was convenient to watch the sunset every night. We had a wonderful time in Kauai. Po'ipu was a great location central to everything we wanted to see.

    Lovely location with good restaurants and a relaxed vibe. Very kid-friendly with keiki menus in all restaurants, and most will accommodate special request. Location is just really, really gorgeous. It is worth driving to Hanalei up north for a day since there is an amazing beach there.

    The Spouting Horn was truly spectacular!

    The Spouting Horn was truly spectacular! The Beach House restaurant was just awesome - right on the water with surfers off shore. The seafood was fabulous and the Monkeypod Mai Tai was just delicious!

    We selected the apartment as it had a kitchen which was well supplied with utensils. We also are great walkers and certainly loved walking the area even up to the Botanical Gardens. The shuttle bus was 10 mins walk away as were the shops. We did have a pizza from Pizza Poundahz behind Lawai Resort but rest self catered.

    Koloa is a charming town that made a great home base for our trip. We especially loved Kiahuna Beach—it’s sandy and much more comfortable for swimming and lounging compared to the rockier spots at Poipu and Brennecke’s Beach. Poipu is great for snorkeling, but definitely bring water shoes for the rocks! For the best mix of sandy beach and safe snorkeling, Lydgate Beach Park is worth the short drive—perfect for families and less crowded. For daily needs, Big Save was our go-to for groceries, and Longs Drugs was convenient for prescriptions and essentials. We also enjoyed happy hour at Kalapaki Joe’s—great spot to unwind. One tip: skip the local Starbucks (unfortunately not the friendliest experience), and head to Lappert’s instead for excellent coffee, delicious treats, and genuinely warm service.

    Koloa is a perfect location for a south shore visit.

    Koloa is a perfect location for a south shore visit. We especially liked Poipu beach and the historic old town Koloa. The Koloa Fish Market is a great place to eat in or take out fresh fish meals. From Koloa it was very easy to explore Waimea Canyon, which is a must see. Great nearby golf course options as well.

    It was an amazing apartment with everything you need, location was perfect, honestly poipu is the best area to stay in Kauai, close to restaurants and the beaches are absolutely stunning. I’d recommend getting renting a car, to explore the island, and there’s plenty of parking by the apartment. They also provide you with towels, chairs and umbrella which is very important. It was just perfect!

    Overlooking a stunning black rock beach, large comfortable rooms, wonderful location. Spacious pool with lounges just steps from a sandy swimming beach. Free self-parking and an excellent luau on site (separate cost). A really wonderful place to stay in Kauai.
