The beach was not crowded like neighboring beaches. After going in several shops, I realized that the people there were unusually helpful. There was lots of shopping - outlets, boutiques and even Walmart. Go to Roosevelt beach down Cedar St off of Savannah. No parking fees and the inlet is right there with great views. Great crabs and staff at Bushell's. When your in between renting and your entire home is in storage units, this place is quiet located so close to everything you need. Salons, outlets, restaurants, beaches. I would say my favorite restaurants are the station on kings. And Rass fantastic upscale eclectic Indian food. Sakutumi for sushi. Bodhi in rehoboth. Right now there are a lot people in town from the tri state area and New England. So just remember how to have a heavy foot. It’s Italian saying. Hope this you guys and y’all this is helpful. Very comfortable, spacious room. My only complaint is the air conditioning didn't work properly. It kept shutting off, we had to adjust the thermostat several times during the night, because the room got warm. The historic district was wonderful.
The historic district was wonderful. It was too hot with a heat wave for us to walk around, but we are planning to go back in the Fall & do a lot of walking. Such a lovely place. Great places to have dinner. And 2 were by the river with views.Guest review bysusanUnited States
