Disappointed at the lack of details in overall cleanliness remote encrusted with grunge and sticky and the bathroom baseboards and floor needed an overall good cleaning. The rugs needed a deep cleaning. Just generally disgusted as the room rate was expensive compared to the quality of other hotels by in the area. The closest restaurant “Nats” was horrendous steak was grisly and the bartender couldn’t make a martini acceptable after 2 tries. When taking the Auto Train, this is a really convenient place to stay (either before or after the trip). Very close to the station, easy to get to from I-95 or the Beltway. Accommodations were clean and the bed very comfy! I wanted to visit the Lorton School, across the road from the facility, so this location was perfect. I also visited some remembered places in nearby Occoquan and Alexandria.
