The town of Ludlow, Routes 100 and 103, is centrally located...
The town of Ludlow, Routes 100 and 103, is centrally located in Vermont with easy access to all roads. Scenic Route 100 runs through Ludlow. The restaurants were great, especially The Hatchery for breakfast and DJ's for dinner. The shopping area was small. Avoid Route 131 off the east side of town off Route 103, it starts out as a good two lane road and turns into a treacherous dirt/gravel road through the mountains.Guest review byJames - 6.0

Do not go to a lake house in the Ludlow area in summer of 2023 after the flooding. - the lakes are filled with silt and you cannot use them. Likewise the well water is not safe to drink. Ludlow has an exceptional hometown diner. It has a delicious wood-fired oven for pizza and an excellent Taco place. For a small community, it has lovely food choices. And, the location, close to Woodstock, Weston and other places make it a wise choice. Quiet and comfortable little hamlet with very friendly people.Guest review byBillUnited States
