The area is beautiful. The water so clear and clean.
The area is beautiful. The water so clear and clean. Enjoyed visiting the nearby lighthouses and museums. Big Springs was amazing and peaceful. Kitch iti Kipi …go see it. We took a drive and found Fayette Historic State Park. Wow was that neat. A town practically preserved and abandoned. We did not get to view everything …need at least 1 day. The hotel is a bit dated but perfectly clean and acceptable for the price. The location is ok for the town, which isn't up to much in reality. If you need to stop off in Manistique, then this is a good choice. If you don't and have the time to go further around the lake, my advice would be to keep travelling to the next big town in either direction.Guest review byDavidIreland
