    Mesa is a Growing city with a lot of modern Hotels and Restaurants. I was there for a Graduation, so I didn't go to any attractions the city had to offer, but the area I where I was , was well maintained and had a great choice of Restaurants; Macayo's for dinner and BJ's Brewhouse for drinks.

    The Hotel and Room were clean and updated.

    The Hotel and Room were clean and updated. The hot breakfast choices were ample and great. We had a very good stay. Lastly, the location was perfect for our needs: near Family and very close access to the Freeway.

    We loved the Arizona Opry ( fantastic entertainment and food...

    We loved the Arizona Opry ( fantastic entertainment and food) A must SEE venue! We also went to Goldfield Ghost Town. The 1890's Mammoth Steakhouse Saloon had excellent steak and even entertainment. Very easy to get around Mesa. Downtown Mesa at night is spectacular!

    What can I say?

    What can I say? I can't think of any reason other than the warm winter weather and golf to come here. It's a massive suburb with suburban level traffic and a strip mall on every other block. Prices are high as are taxes. Drivers are aggressive. To get to the mountains requires a lot of driving.

    There were several things to do that were free.

    There were several things to do that were free. The Mesa Temple had nice Christmas lights throughout the grounds that you could walk through for free. Also an ice skating rink with several Christmas backgrounds to take pictures. Several other things to see on Main Street. Food trucks at Pioneer Park across from the Mesa Temple. Mesa is close to a lot of other attractions and shopping.

    Excellent hotel (for the American standards), spacious room, clean, nice bathroom, very good bed (mattress). Receptionist was very helpful solving our booking issue (as was Booking.com hot line as well!).
