The town of Milford does not have much to do, but just a 15...
The town of Milford does not have much to do, but just a 15 minutes drive to DuPont Nature Center for beautiful Mispillion Harbor view for the strawberry moon rise, and a 15 minutes drive to Slaughter Beach to watch horseshoes crabs. 30 minutes drive to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, 40 minutes drive to Cape Henlopen State Park and Delaware Seashore State Park. Those are my favorites of Milford. The staying in The Towers was perfect after a busy traveling day. The hospitality from the owner Dan & Rhonda would be unforgettable, plus the gorgeous decorations inside & outside, and the delicious breakfasts. I liked location of hotel I have stayed at hotel a couple of times. The things that I disliked were I stayed on second floor and I found a tangerine and a cup of tea with tea bag still in cup behind bed closest to bathroom in room. If you need a pool, health club or fancy breakfast buffet, this isn't your place. But the bed was comfortable, the room and sheets clean, plenty of hot water and a good TV and selection of channels.
