Free Thursday concerts on the Little Beach on the Eagle River and the Minturn Market every Saturday are both delightful. The nearby hiking is tremendous!! It's a quiet town in mud season but the best time to experience the Rocky Mountains like a local. Amazing limitless hiking opportunities are literally right out your door. Minturn Anglers is one of the coolest fly shops in Colorado and I've been to most of them. The Eagle flows right through town with unlimited access. Rocky Mountain Taco is the best tacos in the valley. They do not cut corners on ingredients and have a very cool setup with a huge outdoor patio. As far as food, there are plenty of options if you are staying there short term and everyone is friendly, even to red-eyed weary travelers.Guest review byWilliamUnited States - 10.0
This is a really cute town and we would've liked to stay...
This is a really cute town and we would've liked to stay longer to enjoy local hikes and go for a bike ride. Minturn Saloon has great food and service, and the outdoor dining area is a great location -- along the water with views of the mountain! Parking was easy in the summertime -- we parked right in front of the Minturn Inn and didn't need to move at all during our stay unless we wanted to.Guest review byLeighUnited States
