We went to Monroeville for the Mockingbird play. The play was excellent and the setting for the play and the courthouse were excellent.
The town was very nice with a lot of history and character.
The towns people were very welcoming and friendly. Their pride in their town was evident everywhere.
There are good restaurants in the area including David's Catfish Restaurant and Mel"s Ice Cream shop.
It was a very pleasant small southern town experience. we would return.

Excellent hotel! Very modern and spacious. Staff was excellent! I messaged the site saying we’d be arriving late. When we got there they had all my stuff ready- keys, invoice, etc. We were so tired and this was so kind! We loved the room; it had a fan which is awesome! Would definitely stay again!

Pet friendly is the only reason we stayed here. Paid for two nights and stayed one. Nasty place first room smelled like a five gallon ash try. Changed rooms and went and bought air purifier to stay in room.
