Mount Pleasant has a great downtown, walking parks and Island Park has a wonderful farmers market . The Art Reach center is good too. If you like a nice affordable quiet place to shop for groceries, go to the Green Tree Market downtown. The price we got the room for was great.
The price we got the room for was great. The breakfast was nice, but you want to be there before 9:30am. The mattress was to firm for me. The pillows were soft, great. We came for a show at the casino, but checked out downtown as a possible place to eat. Our impression of downtown was sad. There was a major entertainer at the casino. closeness to the college was great.
closeness to the college was great. The hotel is older, but it was clean. We only needed basic amenities and it fit the bill. But I requested the ground floor and paid for it. The folks above us talked & moved around all night. And the constant changing of the heat in the room was noticeable. we set the temp but it just kept adjusting on its own. one minute we were warm, then cool air came on, then back to warm air. The folks above us made us realize how thin the wall were. get a top floor if you can. other then that, it was good for an overnight day of a day or two.Guest review byPatUnited States
