This is still a very small nice quiet town. Exactly what I wanted. Disappointed that the bakery has become so commercial now. The old small local bakery was so much better and malasades to die for. the new place they taste like all production line baked goods. Hana Hua was great food. Really good service and prices were reasonable.

The property is beautiful and was in a great location with a short drive to South Point, Green Sand Beach, the Black Sand Beach and cute town of Naalehu. Good stopping point, almost halfway between Kailua-Kona and Volcanoes National Park. Rooms are actually pretty big but the beds are packed in. Great for just my wife and I but could be cramped for a larger group if they maximized people to bed ratio. The coffee deck and patio were great for hanging out sipping the complementary coffee and enjoying the “garden” view.
