Napa is absolutely beautiful no matter where you drive. The weather was warm but still very comfortable. Downtown Napa is a great spot to eat, walk around, and shop, with a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we met was friendly, and the wineries are fantastic! Napa is just beautiful. Great wine. Beautiful vineyards and wine tasting properties. Also, many great restaurants. My family and I have visited wine regions in Italy and France and others in European countries. Napa is every bit as beautiful as they are. We visit several times a year to enjoy and relax. The first time, we visited 4 wineries; this time it was only 2 and those too were thoroughly disappointing ... Charles Krug and V Sattui. We really enjoyed the wine evenings, the free drinks and the excellent breakfasts. The staff were attentive, personable and friendly - thank you Robert, Latrice, Gio and Ben. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and served in your room. We were a little worried about not being in the heart of Napa but it was a lovely 15 minute walk to all the restaurants and tasting rooms and, in the end, we were actually happy to be a bit removed.
