    New Haven is a great place to visit.

    New Haven is a great place to visit. Known for great pizzas (Pepe, Sally, Modern, Ernie’s) great schools, nice restaurants from Sandra Next Generation , Kool Breeze, Archie Moore, Brazi) just to name a few! great atmosphere, different cultures, Peabody museum for families, Schubert, long wharf theatre, Yale theatres and museum, nice and friendly! Easy access to 91 and 95 highway.

    Everything was good except, the unit was advertised as a one-bedroom verses a studio, but there was no door to the bedroom, and was one room. I think that description needs to be changed. Otherwise, location, and unit worked out great.

    Cute, walkable and perfect for families. Yale offers free museums that make an easy afternoon trip engaging and fun. The downtown is walkable and has a wide variety of foods from across the globe. The area is clean, friendly and accessible.

    New Haven is a beautiful City!

    New Haven is a beautiful City! It is a great college town with the hotel located right in the Center of Yale University. Great shops are right around the corner from this hotel in addition to good restaurants. Everything is within walking distance from the Omni.

    Unsurprisingly, Yale dominates the area.

    Unsurprisingly, Yale dominates the area. Lots of one-way streets that we became very adept at dealing with. There were a lot of decent places to eat, including a Peruvian place right across the street from the place we stayed called Icaru.

    New Haven is an inner city so you have to use commin sense...

    New Haven is an inner city so you have to use commin sense and some caution, esp after dark. I worked there for 10 yrs, retiring two yrs ago. However, The Study is on Chapel St where the best art museums are located as well as the repertory theater. There is a good map of the Yale campus in the room. You can walk or Uber to the Peabody Museum. I was in New Haven for tests at Yale-New Haven Hospital/Smilow and I simply walked down Park St. Perfect.

    Everything I expected from this stay came true and even more. It really has the old charms that you'd expect from a hotel next to the old and honorable Yale Campus. I'd love to go back to new haven just to stay at this hotel again.

    Good room - comfortable bed and really nice bathroom which was well laid out and had good touches like night dimmer lighting. Located in a safe area en route from Union station to the town centre.
