location, quietness as it was out of season, close to town, great walk/bike trail, great variety of eateries, food and drink, cheerful and helpful staff, cottage rental wad exceptional, fantastic views, breakfast was adequate, don't expect a full English, as you can cook that in your cottage.     I liked that it was small and had variety of curio shops and...

    I liked that it was small and had variety of curio shops and restaurants. I didn’t like the fact that ride shares like Uber and Lyft were non-existent. We had to have emergency repairs done to the car and taxis were asking for too much. We had to walk everywhere. A thing that I notice was that there is no diversity in people there. Most of the population was white.

    Nisswa is a cute small town, with lots of small shops.

    Nisswa is a cute small town, with lots of small shops. Our visit was end of February, and everything was open. Brainard is close by for large shopping, big box stores, so Nisswa is quaint shopping! Plenty of restaurants and breweries close by

    Beautiful area with lakes, woods, walking trails.

    Beautiful area with lakes, woods, walking trails. Due to Covid, many restaurants have reduced hours/decreased days of operation, so that was a little challenging. We came in the fall, so did not engage in any water sports, but sitting by the water and walking in the woods with changing fall leaves was so beautiful and rejuvenating💕

    Nice! Small hotel tucked in the woods on a lake. Clean room, awesome shower, comfortable bed and pillows, exceptional location, exceptional grounds with amenities (dock, beach, playground, campfire, gas grills, a lot of lawn), each room had an individual patio/deck. Very close to town for restaurants and a little shopping.

    It was a great location. It is right off of the Paul Bunyan Trail, so one day we walked to Nisswa. It was a gorgeous fall day, and the colors were incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Tiffany. The breakfast was quite nice also. It would be wonderful to return in the summer, to enjoy the lake.

    Very nice property, excellent privacy, very close (10 miles) to all Brainerd shopping areas and restaurants, beautiful deck, lovely views of Lake Edward, set up to handle a lot of guests, decorum is little dated but very clean and completely acceptable.
