For a fast food meal, Nebraska's unique RUNZA is a must. SCOOTER'S drive through coffee kiosks are also a Nebraska standard - though they are popping up around the Midwest. The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge uniquely allows pedestrians and cyclists to cross from Omaha, Nebraska, into Council Bluffs, Iowa. We were there for a fully-scheduled convention and did not take advantage of many local opportunities, but the CHI Convention Center is an excellent convention venue (one of the best I've been to) and the skywalk connected Omaha Hilton was a convenient and accommodating place to stay.Guest review byLoriUnited States - 6.0

The Old market district is cute and diverse for shopping and dining. The Riverfront Park is Great and should be enjoyed. The rest of the town is a big Meh in my book. Omaha is a good size city so if you're not wanting a large city don't go. Make sure you take in the old town area and that market. There are many nice places to see in Omaha.
