This is a nice place to visit if you are looking at colleges. As someone with a gluten allergy, I loved that most of the local restaurants had gluten free options on the menu, including a gluten free bakery in town.Guest review byDianaUnited States - 8.0
It was a most interesting historic town.
It was a most interesting historic town. It was of personal interest since a young education student is a waitress at our golf club. She mentioned that her boyfriend was on a full hockey scholarship at Clarkson. The Clarkson university campus is extremely beautiful . The young waitress is a remote student and is an exchange with a Canadian university. I've visited Potsdam many times over the last 10 years and have always found something new to do! There are good food options, lots of outdoor activities and the town is located close enough to Canada, the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain to allow for wonderful day trips.Guest review byJimUnited States - 10.0

Wonderful town with polite and lovely people.
Wonderful town with polite and lovely people. They greet you on the street, invite you to local events and the Sunday service. Breakfast at the Bagel Bros., lunch at Maxfield’s or Jake’s on the Water is a must. The Clarkson Inn is a wonderful hotel to stay. For reliable taxi service call Zero Taxi.Guest review byNatasaSerbia
