We spent one night here as part of our tour of the Palouse Scenic Bi-way and for a visit to Palouse Falls State Park. The history of this area is very interesting and well worth a visit to the area. We were not here to interact with the University, but did enjoy a drive through the campus.

We eat at two different restaurants just down the street to the left then another left on the right hand side at next corner is was recommended and the other one was just a little further across the street they where delicious both served homemade potato chips while we waited for or meals. I don't like fries so I was in seventh heaven.

Pullman is a good halfway point between SW Idaho and Northern Idaho. The downtown is small and has everything an overnight stop requires. We had a late supper at Rico's, an Irish-style pub. The service is slow but we like the vibe and the pub grub. In the morning there are various shops to explore and places to get coffee. There is a wonderful bookstore that we always like to check out when in town. We especially like to head up to the sweet little town of Palouse just north of Pullman on our way out of town so we can visit Open Eye Consignment Shop. It's in a cool old boarding house with three stories of vintage items at mostly reasonable prices.

    Gorgeous town!

Gorgeous town! Visited mainly because of a family member at WSU, but was very impressed with the beauty of the town and the wonderful downtown area (especially Rico's Pub, Zoe and Roost Coffee!) Shops and coffee shops, restaurants and the bookstore -- all were terrific and highly recommended!

Pullman is a college town and lovely to visit.

Pullman is a college town and lovely to visit. There's alot to see if you are not familiar with the area. The Visitors Center is a must stop. The community is super friendly. Shopping is great, travel time easy, and accommodations just enough depending on when you visit (popular football games might be hard to book hotels so do it early).

    Pullman is a unique town.

Pullman is a unique town. With a population of just over 30,000, it is a big town for the Palouse. It is the home of Washington State University with a student population of just over 30,000. With a total population of over 60,000 combined, the town has a nice array of shopping and other amenities. It feels warm and friendly.

Everything was perfect! Definitely the best place we stayed at from east to west coast after 23 hotels/motels in a row. We didn't want to leave as we felt at home. We even binged Netflix as this was the first opportunity we had to relax after lots of days on the road in sometimes awful hotels with terrible television. Annie was a pleasure to deal with.

Great location, helpful staff, tons of personality in the room and throughout the hotel (even the parking). Very memorable experience! Would absolutely return.

They are very close to the campus, shops, and restaurants in Pullman. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The A/C was much appreciated.
