Breakfast was good. Location of hotel was nearby to many places. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. I liked that the hotel had a fitness room and a pool. The pool area and water was nice, maybe more heat and warmer water temps...it was a little chilly to go in. The lobby and its seating area was peaceful and comfy, nicely furnished too.

    Ringwood is a beautiful and extensive state park with a lake ,manicured gardens and hiking trails. The only negative is they have closed the lake to swimming due to lack of staff. However you can rent a stand-up paddleboard a boat or a kayak and it seems as though you can swim from any of those if you wish. You just can't enter the water from the beach which is closed. Breakfast is provided at the castle but for all other meals you need to go to surrounding towns most of which are about a 15 to 20 minute drive away. The castle staff provides you with a list of recommended places.
