    We wanted a clean and comfortable hotel for our road trip overnight stay. This hotel was very nice and convenient. It’s close to the highway and has secure parking. Most of the hotel guests seem to be either associated with the hospital and staff or patients and their families. The surrounding area seemed very safe, with lots of restaurant options. We are the Red Cow restaurant for dinner…a nice, healthy option, just across the street.

    We liked visiting Rochester during my visit to Mayo.

    We liked visiting Rochester during my visit to Mayo. Did some sightseeing. Mayo tour and Olmstead Cty. museum was great. Supper at the Bleu Duck was great. Getting around Rochester was difficult. Wish there was a street map of the Rochester downtown and surrounding area. This would have made it much easier to get around and find places.

    Everything about Rochester is gorgeous, people very friendly, everything you want or need is within walking distance. Buses for the amazing Mayo Clinic fantastic! The Mayo Clinic it’s self is so well organized, caring staff, doctors amazing, treatment or procedures are the best in the United States 🇺🇸. We traveled from Montana to Rochester Mayo Clinic for our daughter’s surgery. We met so many amazing doctors and staff. I wish all hospitals and medical professionals would travel there and see what it is like to be efficient, caring, compassionate and real medical staff. Our hospital and clinics, Benefis hospital, Great Falls clinic don’t come even close to patient care, communication , or even caring about a patient’s condition. Most of the time the doctors don’t even communicate with you. Other than that there is So much to see and do in Rochester. It’s beautiful and green..

    I came for the Mayo Clinic and will be returning for more...

    I came for the Mayo Clinic and will be returning for more procedures. Seems easy enough to get to the Mayo clinic so far. Had a main route in and out of the area we needed. Would like to visit for other reasons someday. The valet parking at the clinic is the only way to go $12 minimum with extra $1 per hour with a max $18 per day. This allowed us to stay in a cheaper hotel that wasn't connected to the clinic. Made it quick and easy, worry free.

    Getting around was very easy and tons of places to park...

    Getting around was very easy and tons of places to park downtown (free or very inexpensive). We loved walking downtown in the underground subway. There are a lot of great restaurants and great shopping places. It was a bit chilly outside, so it was wonderful to be able to access everything underground. Also, there is a wonderful nature park just outside of the city that was great for hiking. Try Chester's restaurant. The food and service were superb!!

    We toured the former home of the Mayo families, which was very well worth a guided tour. Also toured the Plummer Building. Lots of great restaurants and parks with walking trails. Also, the city library was a hit. We will be looking for more adventures during our next visit.

    + Location is good. There is Target store and Kwik gas station near the hotel. + Staff are friendly. I actually had a situation where I forgot my mobile phone in the room after I checked out , Pamela was very helpful and she gave the phone to the Uber driver so he can bring it to me at the airport. + Comfy bed. + Reasonable price.
