I thought the manager Andrew was exceptional and so friendly going out of his way to welcome us. Even on check in Andrew let us in a just a little early to accommodate my elderly sister who was not feeling well. Then checked in on us later to see if we were okay. This is so rare these days so thank you Andrew for your kindness. My sister appreciated it so she could rest her sore back from the long car ride. The hotel is really new, beds were so comfortable and the shower pressure better than most hotels.Everyone was lucky to get a restful sleep. It is a quiet hotel despite being near the highway. We went to On the Border for dinner and the food was delicious. Lots of choices around there for lunch or dinner. Next day I met a Harlem Globetrotter Irwin and he took a picture of me in front of their bus. That was exciting. Irwin was six foot nine inches tall and so polite. The breakfast consisted of all the normal things to eat and they have a pancake machine. I liked how they have fruit for breakfast and yoghurt so different preferences to pick.

    They had a free breakfast that was okay, not great but okay.

    They had a free breakfast that was okay, not great but okay. The room had multiple problems and it appeared that they were never addressed. No towels, torn shower curtain, room phone with no wire to the wall jack, the room door wouldn’t lock and easily opened from the outside with a slight push, room cleanliness was suspect. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

    Lots of food options close by.

    Lots of food options close by. It's Easter weekend, so a lot of places are closed, but Wang Palace is right up the street. Close to the highway and easy to get around. There are 2 different CVS within a mile of the hotel so we always had what we needed. Stop n' shop right around the corner. Food+meds+laundry, all bases covered. Nobody messed with our car or anything like that. There were a lot of police on patrol, but nobody tried to violate my Constitutional rights. I found a creek out behind the hotel while I was smoking a joint, it was peaceful and prohibition of pot is lifted in CT, so smoke it if you got it!! :)
