    Beautiful area and great local restaurant (Chappies) and coffee at Watersheds. Roxbury quirky but basic facilities. Cycling from cycle outlet in Stamford was great way to see countryside and wildlife - we got lucky and saw a pair of Golden Eagles! 🦅

    The pool was amazing! The drinks pool side were yummy! The staff is friendly. One of the owners personally brought me to the pool. It was my second time here this year. We have 2 more dates booked for next year. I’d highly recommend coming in the summer to enjoy the pool.

    Loved our room. We were away for our 40th anniversary.

    Loved our room. We were away for our 40th anniversary. Though it was a very rainy weekend, we were able to find shopping and food and we were able to relax in our room. Would have loved to walk the trails and sit by the pool but the weather did not cooperate for that. We will just have to go back and try again. Such attention to detail is going into this hotel. The owners are so proud of the facility and it shows.

    Our out-of-state vacation was canceled due to Covidand this hotel came very highly recommended from friends of mine at work and it did not disappoint. The rooms were so clean and everything that was high touch like the remote had plastic on it with a sticker that said it was sanitized and there was all single use coffee items as well as shower items. I felt so comfortable there with their cleaning. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. The views from our room were beautiful and we loved walking the grounds at Stratton falls at their sister location just a few minutes up the road.

    Very clean rooms. Great staff. Bailey was very personable and answered all our questions. Greg, one of the owners was very friendly and hard working. Easy to get to from Capital district, Albany. In a quiet town, so great place to go and relax. The falls are beautiful! Would recommend to anyone that needs an escape. 😀

    Easy, safe check-in (all precautions and guidelines are being followed) Nicely decorated rooms with lots of space. Aside from cell service (non-existent!) I only had two small issues: in a ground floor room I could hear guests walking above, windows had blinds but no curtains to draw closed which didn’t allow for total dark which is how I like to sleep. Thoughtful touches - like hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes, fridge with wine/beverages for purchase, and a boot tray... a boot tray!! by the front door to keep dirty shoes contained made the stay awesome.
