It's a nice small town.
It's a nice small town. Lots of restaurants are closed on Sunday which caused us to eat at Denny's. They were slammed. Ate at Mom's Cafe the previous visit. Had a wonderful meal and conversation with mom herself.Guest review byRonUnited States - 10.0

The pricing was not too bad and the beds were comfortable.
The pricing was not too bad and the beds were comfortable. Their breakfast that they advertised was not served until 11:00 am, so I did not eat breakfast therefore I can't say much about it. This is a form of false advertisement because we know that breakfast is served in the morning and not at noon. The toilet was extremely tiny and uncomfortable and it didn't flush very well! The location and general atmosphere of the immediate area...
The location and general atmosphere of the immediate area makes this hotel a great place to stay. There's a little food stand around the corner that has THE BEST FOOD! A quiet little town filled with nice people!
A quiet little town filled with nice people! A tire pressure warning came on just as I was leaving town at 430am; so lucky there is a newer Maverik gas station/minimarket that had an easy to use air machine with pressure selection and automatic stop at full. I don't carry quarters, or a tire gauge; my debit card saved the day and time lost getting back on the road. Celebrated with fresh hot coffee - really nice clerk.Guest review byMaxineUnited States

Small with gas station, Cafe, grocery store. High Desert Inn is right on main street. Owner chatted pleasantly at reception. As soon as I entered the room, I thought, "Oh this is nice!". Fresh new white paint, updated fixtures, lovely linens. The next morning I needed to use their land line and they were so helpful. Great place . Great people.Guest review byJaneCanada

Great rooms, comfortable beds, complimentary bottles of water, coffee facilities in room and parking right in front of room.
