    I like this part of the beach and bring my kids here...

    I like this part of the beach and bring my kids here whenever I make the trip. Less busy than areas further down the way (past Moe's Restaurant). Walkable to most shops and a nearby restroom which is a must with kids. It has a nice variety of features soft sand beach with enough room to not be right next to another person. Clear and shallow (kid friendly) swimming areas that extend quite far. Rock formations, tide pools and clamming when tides are out plus pretty views of the sun setting make it a favorite spot on our list.
