    I reside in San Angelo.. stayed here for about 2 months a year ago and another 4 nights since. It’s a clean, well maintained property with great staff. Out of the many Wyndham properties I’ve stayed in.. upwards of 20.. this has to be the best in all categories

    The room was shabby.

    The room was shabby. The bathtub broken and had missing tile on front. There were cigarette burns along edge and the towels were dingy. Two metal handles were attached to sides for hand holds that caused me to bruise my shin. There were no grab bars for a deep tub which is dangerous for elderly people. But the worst part was they allow smoking in room. We bought air freshener in order to make it through the night. I had surgery the next morning so I showered so I wouldn't gross out the doctor & staff. But that didn't help any of us because the smell clung on to everything. We couldn't even bring our suitcases cases in the house when we got home instead unloaded them directly into washer. The pool was closed and green with algae (mosquito breeding ground. I have stayed at many Ramadas over the years but never have I been so disappointed in the room as this time. Ramada has got a good name and reputation but, I don't believe I would take a chance on staying at Ramada in the future.

    A great large town to visit for lots of fun west texas stuff...

    A great large town to visit for lots of fun west texas stuff to do and see. Great arts and culture activity and things to see and do. Downtown is amazing and the parks plus concho river are great spots to see.

    They have a beautiful walkway along the river.

    They have a beautiful walkway along the river. Unfortunately we didn't get to walk it all, ran out of time. Zero One Ale house has an excellent steak and good sandwiches. Saw buffalo at the San Angelo State Park, although at a distance. For this time of year the park is not very busy.

    We visited San Angelo and Goodfellow Tx we had a great time eating at Cheddars, bowling, going to the movies, shopping, getting our nails done etc San Angelo is such a sweet heart and owes us nothing!!! Forever in our hearts!

    A charming town that's small enough to have that small town...

    A charming town that's small enough to have that small town feel but big enough to have the amenities needed. We had a great time exploring the art in unusual places and the painted sheep around town. Lots of public art and history!
