    We chose Serenity for a one-night stop on a driving trip...

    We chose Serenity for a one-night stop on a driving trip mainly because it the price was incredibly low compared to surrounding available accommodations. We found the room very comfortable and the bathroom clean and functional. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful, recommending very good restaurants in the vicinity among other things. We will surely stay there again should we ever travel their way again.

    Shaftsbury is close to Bennington College and attractions such as the Robert Frost House and the Bennington Monument. Serenity Inn is a good place to stay when visiting the college or sightseeing in the area.

    We were just making an overnight stop while traveling to visit friends. There are interesting things to see and we will likely to schedule more time in the Shaftsbury and Bennington area during a future trip.

    Great place to explore nature.

    Great place to explore nature. There are quite a few motels, all within driving distance of some really amazing hiking trails. I'm from downstate NY and it was really special to just get away for a few days and breathe some fresh, fragrant air. Mount Equinox, Lye Brook Falls, walking the streets of historic Bennington, VT -- all worth it.
