We went to visit family and while we stayed we visited the Reagan Presidential Library which was close by. So much to see there. it was a great experience! We also visited the Junkyard restaurant. This place has everything! Any kind of food you want and everything else there you can imagine. A fun visit. Lastly we went to the Blue Fin restaurant. Delightful experience there as well. I would recommend all three! Getting around Simi Valley is easy. Took me 1 trip around to get my bearings and the traffic is nearly non existent. The valley views are awesome as well. Simi Valley is so beautiful and such a lovely relaxing area I felt safe and loved the location it was very handy to a quite a few eateries and not too far for a Uber to take me to places. We lived in Simi for 40 years and returned for a party.
We lived in Simi for 40 years and returned for a party. It's still a quiet, clean place. Not really a destination unless you're visiting the Reagan Library which is, by the way, a GREAT museum. Modern, interesting, beautiful, historic and with very nice views. Probably less expensive to stay here than Chatsworth and/or Thousand Oaks / Westlake so it would be reasonable to stay here if you're visiting there.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 8.0

I went with the purpose of seeing The Auschwitz Exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Library. Enjoyed my stay over night at the Best Western Motel, not far from the Library. Met a friend for dinner, after the long day at the Library at Phil's in Thousand Oaks. The restaurant was a bit noisy, but the food and wine were delicious. Love Simi valley. Hotel was not good. To expensive for what you actually got. I'm disabled and still had to use room on 3rd floor almost all the way to the back of the hotel. I had a hard time walking all that distance. No other rooms available. Someone set off the fire alarm at around 3am. Dog urine in elevator. Tv way to small. Love the hot tub with the pool too. Express breakfast was good and efficient, thanks Alfonso and Kat! Business center is very handy, especially for printing.
