I recently stayed at this vacation rental in South Bend, and it far exceeded all expectations. From the moment I booked, the host was absolutely fantastic — available 24/7, incredibly responsive, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location is ideal. It’s very close to the Notre Dame campus and the shuttle access is super convenient — perfect if you don’t want to worry about driving or parking. The space itself was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and had everything I needed. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, full kitchen, and thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel homey and high‑end. Communication was flawless; any small question or request was handled immediately. The host’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the stay feel personal and worry‑free. Overall, this was an exceptional stay — excellent value, perfect location, and a host who truly cares. I would not recommend this hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel. When I booked four rooms at this hotel, your sit states pay when you arrive and free cancellation up until 24 hours before booking date, Two weeks before a our trip the hotel manager called and stated that if the rooms were not paid in full by that day at 6:00 we would loose our reservations. He also stated there was no free cancellation Upon arrival at the hotel he had not registered the rooms in my friends names, they all remained in my name. Three of the four rooms were on the second floor (no elevator) The rooms were mostly clean but badly in need of updating The final problem was Sunday morning while we were packing the cars for departure the hotel deactivated all room keys . WE could not get back into our room to retrieve our belongs. It should be noted this was done at 9:00AM- well before the check out timeGuest review byTomUnited States - 10.0
I love South Bend.
I love South Bend. It’s a great size city and I find the people very friendly. There are many good restaurants and I love the variety of great ethnic places to eat. Some of my favorites are Cre-Asian, JW Chen’s, Sunny Italy, Cosimo and Susie’s Italian restaurant. For fine dining: Cafe Navarre, LaSalle Grill and Artisan ( in Elkhart). It's easy to get around South Bend. Of course Notre Dame is here and there is a variety of things to do there. Take a walk around the gorgeous campus. Enjoy your stay.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
