It's a lovely, historic old town.
It's a lovely, historic old town. We felt quite safe and comfortable walking to dinner and the ice cream shop after dark. Our main purpose for visiting was riding the Strasburg Railroad and visiting the PA state railroad museum. They never disappoint.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Interesting Sites.
Interesting Sites. We took a 45 minutes ride on the STEAM TRAIN. Viewing the countryside and seeing farmers with their team of horses working the land was fascinating. We visited the Choo Choo Barn, a Fantastic Large Miniature Train Layout. AWESOME animation! The Ice Cream Shop a few steps away is a MUST VISIT. Many things to do and see. Good food.
Many things to do and see. Good food. Did not like driving around the Amish horse carts in the road with young children driving them and being passed by huge trucks. Afraid for their safety. Also had to question if the Amish are for real or an act . I find it hard to believe that people do not have another motive for being so full of smiles.
