I loved this place. The location was very walkable, just next to the beach and Santa Barbara old town. The room was big and extraordinarily clean. The beds were comfortable. Also, the option of free parking is very handy as street parking can be expensive around. Breakfast was good... I will definitely stay here if I visit Santa Barbara again.

Quietly elegant yet home-like, my experience of Palihouse was a delight. The staff are all—to a person— kind and welcoming, and the vibe is warm, familiar, well-curated and much like a club of which you’re a long-time, valued member. The room was very spacious, extraordinarily well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable. A private taste of SoCal at its best; I’ll definitely be returning.

The staff were amazingly helpful. Free bike hire, biking is perfect and safe in the area. They also had a happy hour 4.30 to 6.30 where you can have afternoon tea/coffee or wine with light things to eat too... so generous!! Pool was gorgeous and rooms were very very very nice and spacious.

Everything from entering the property the reception staff were friendly and informative about places to see and visit they also gave us a map of the area The room was amazing and the cleanest of the rooms was spotless, the breakfast was just right to start the day off I would highly recommend this accommodation and even the owner of the property was friendly and informed us on places to visit (well done everyone at the eagle inn for doing an amazing job)

    While the location is good, guests should be aware of traffic noise. Room did supply earplugs and "white noise" machine but not expected at $400+ per night. Bed and pillows are way to soft. Of course I am 4 years older now.

    Beautiful small beach town close to Montecito and Santa Barbara. Do the beaches and take a horseback ride on the beach. Great wine tasting just a walk away. Shops are great as well as the local dining choices. Perfect Romantic Getaway.

    Apartments were very well-appointed and grounds were exceptional. Gift baskets + drinks in the refrigerator were a very classy touch! It's less than a 4 minute walk into Summerland village, about a mile to Loon Point Beach, and right in between Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. Our host Natty checked in 2-3 times with us to make sure our stay was going well. It was! We are already discussing our next visit to this property. It's a wonderful place run by truly caring people.

    Beautiful property and just far enough away from downtown, but still a quick walk. Two levels of parking which worked out great for us. Continental breakfast was good and someone actually made us eggs and bacon! Welcome surprise. Lots of restaurants and gift shops

    I loved my stay at the Inn on Summer Hill. The staff was amazing! And you cannot beat the location! It was perfect for my needs, as I was at a conference at Pacifica Graduate Institute. It is also in walking distance of restaurants and shops.
