We only stayed in Thibodaux because it was well located for...

We only stayed in Thibodaux because it was well located for our trip exploring the swamp areas south of New Orleans. Also, photographs of the old town looked interesting, although it turned out to be disappointing as nothing was open in the early evening.

This home was perfect for our family of 4 (two adult children) while in town for a family event in Thibodaux. Easy to find, keyless entry, comfy bedrooms and living room, kitchen with all the basics. No dishwasher, but we only prepared 2 breakfast meals and one dinner, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We would stay here again if in Thibodaux!

Although very reasonably priced (65 $ for a huge room with two king size beds), the Carmel Inn has all the avantages of a luxury hotel. - free parking - free breakfast - swimming pool - restaurant & bar - spacious lobby - five minute walk to historic downtown

The hotel was over booked and so when I got they're I didn't have a room. Booking.com was not up to date with what the hotel had in house. Y'all need to figure that out with them!

A perfectly functional hotel a couple of miles from downtown. The staff were most helpful, my room was fine and breakfast (a simple but adequate buffet) did the job well.
